The hunger games is a story about two young people, who are going to change their horrible world. There are twelve districts. Every year, from every district, one boy and one girl are chosen for the Hunger games. Hunger games was created as a punishment to the districts, so they remember that Capitol has the biggest power. Primrose Everdeen got chosen and her big sister Katniss did volunteer to her place. Peeta Mellark got chosen from boys. Katniss remembers Peeta, because one day, when Katniss was about to starve to the death, Peeta did throw her a bread. At the Hunger games, all tributes fight between each other and the last one alive is the winner. Peeta and Katniss make a fake love story between them so all the Hunger game's watchers would love them. At the end, there are only three tributes left. Katniss, Peeta and Gato from other district. Katniss and Peeta kills Gato, and they survive together as a winners, because people in Capitol made a new rule that if the survivers are from same district, they can win together. But Peeta is thinking that maybe their fake love story wasn't really fake.

There is many important character's, but the main character's are 16-years old Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.
Katniss is from poor family, and she hunts for her mother and little sister. Her dad died in a mine explosion. Katniss has a very strong personality. She is really great hunter with her bow, and her best friend is Gale, a boy from their village. Katniss has long, brown hair and kinda green eyes.  On the film, Jennifer Lawrence is acting Katniss Everdeen.

Peeta Mellark is from the bakers family. He knows how to bake well, but also paint. Peeta is really strong. He has a dad and a mother. His personality is really sweet and kind. Peeta has blonde hair and blue eyes. On the film, Josh Hutcherson is acting Peeta Mellark.

The Hunger games is written by Suzanne Collins. She was born in August 10, 1962. Her writer career began in 1991. Suzanne got inspiration for The Hunger games from Vietnam war, and from that story where young girls and boys was sacrificed to the Minotaurus. The movie's director is Gary Ross.
I think The Hunger games is a book/movie for over 10 year's olds. Its somehow kinda raw, but also full of romantic and tension. It wont get boring! I think it's an action movie.

I really liked the Hunger games! Every book and movie was great. The movie was really genuine-looking and easy to understand. There were only some parts from the book that didn't appear to the film, but it's okay. The actors were chosen right.
