Moomin
Moomin are created by Finnish-Swedish Tove Jansson (9.8.1914-27.6.2001) Moomin are cartoons for children but adults watch them as well. Moomins look like hippopotamus. There is different Moomin books, movies, toys and moomin TV series. Also there is all kind of items which has Moomin theme. In Finland is Moominland which is located in Naantali. Moomin characters are:
Moomintroll: The main character. Friendly and adventurous boy of Moomin family.
Snork Maiden: Beautiful and sunny. Sometimes changes her mind about things. Loves glittering jewels and collects sometimes beautiful seashells. Moomintroll’s girlfriend and friend of Moomin family.
Moominmamma: Friendly and caring. Takes care of the house and others. Mom of the family who is like everyones mom.
Moominpappa: Also adventurous and philosophical. Father of the family who writes his memories.
Snufkin: Wise, fearless, calm and helpful boy who plays harmonica and travels all over the world trying to make his life complete. Moomintroll’s best friend.
Little My: Energetic and brave little girl who has peppery temperament. Doesn’t say “no” to real adventures. Good friend of Moomin family.
Sniff: A bit of a whimp who loves food, specially Moominmamma’s. Good friend of Moomin family.
Hemulens: Collects different plants. “Natural scientist” who knows everything about plants. Good friend of Moomin family
Mymble: Kind and helpful. Good friend of Moomin family and Little My’s big sister.
Too-Ticky: Friendly and wise woman, who has kind of boyish look. Good friend of Moomin family.
Snork: Wise inventor who designs and builds all kind of things. Good friend of Moomin family and Snork Maiden’s big brother.
Thingumy & Bob: Tiny twins who have their own language. Good friend of Moomin family.
Fillyjonk: Civilized madam who believes in order. She has three children and she is friend of Moomin family.
Groke: Lonely and unhappy ghost-shaped person whom everyone fears. She freezes everyone who she touches.
Stinky: Crooked and mean person who is always trying to make different problems to Moomin family. Could say that he is Moomintroll’s enemy.
Hattifatteners: Look little bit like little white ghosts who travel all over the world. They always wait for a big thunderstorm.
Police officer: Fair person who keeps order in Moominland. Good friend of Moomin family.

Donald Duck magazine

Donald Duck Magazine is a comic magazine published by Sanoma Magazines. Its main character is Donald Duck but the magazine has many other stories also that includes other Disney characters. The magazine has been published first time on 5th of December 1951 and it comes every wednesday. Usually Donald Duck Magazine has 36 pages but the specials have 52 pages. Most known Donald Duck writers and drawers are Don Rosa, Carl Barks, Marco Rota and Finnish Kari Korhonen. Different Disney characters have their own stories in the Donald Duck magazine, as Mickey Mouse, Uncle-Scrooge, Goofy, Daisy Duck and of course Donald Duck himself. On the first page there’s usually some kind of information told of Disney writers, characters or some competitions based on Disney. Donald Duck magazine is suitable for all ages.
I have ordered Donald Duck magazine for about 10 years now and i really like it because it has always different stories and good information of characters and other interesting things. I suggest Donald Duck magazine for everyone who likes to read comics and funny stories.
