HELSINKI
Haloo Helsinki is a Finnish pop/rock band that has
been founded 2006 and their new albums have sold platinum. There are 4 members in
the band: Singer and bassist Elli Haloo, Guitar players Jere Marttila and Leo
Haukkanen, Jukka Soldan is drummer of the band.
Haloo Helsinki
is also the first Finnish band that has four singles been in the 1st
place of Finnish radio list in a row. First really successful album was “III” which
was realized 2.3.2011. Real breakthrough in Finland happened on summer 2011
when single “Maailman toisella puolen” (On the other side of the world) was released.
For now they have sold the single album
for over 12 000 peaces. And III album has been sold for over 22 000 peace’s.
Band is singing all songs in Finnish and Elli is the song writer of the band.
Haloo Helsinkis record label is now Sony Music Finland. Haloo Helsinki has won
a lot of trophies, especially last year they won: Band of the year trophy,
Radio song of the year trophy with the song “Vapaus käteen jää” and pop song of
the year “Maailma on tehty meitä varten”.
