First I got up and ate breakfast, then I went to my helicopter and I flew to my Island. On my island I shot to animals with my bow. Later I sold the animal that I had killed. Next I drive my 1990 harley to the neighboring island. My neighbor was Hugh Jackmann. (he is my friend) when I reached his island we played billard and I drank cola but he drank pepsi. When we finished we went kart racing. He was good but I was better and I win. At the end of the day he gave me jet puck. I said good bye and I went on my Island to bed.

A day to remember

This story started when I was 7 years old. I was a very fearful kid.

One day my mum bought a hamster for me, but it didn’t have any wheel in the cage.

A few weeks later, my nanny – Zosia gave me a present for my hamster. It was an old wheel. When I put into the cage, hamster didn’t know how to use it.

In the evening, I heard something strange. It was a sound which I’d never heard earlier. There was nobody at home, but this sound was in my room. I was really scared. I thought – ‘ghost, thief or… zombie!’. But… I wanted to live!

I walked into the room and… I saw my hamster in the wheel! I felt so relived.

A couple of years ago, my biggest dream was real, I finally got my own dog. I had wanted a dog for a long time and finally one of our friends dog  got the puppies. I wanted to go and visit them as soon as it was possible, and the next day I got the chance to.

I got a little scared when I came to the breeder door and I heard barking when I went to see the puppies.I was going to cancel the whole thing, fortunately, I gathered my courage and went inside the house. In the house I was greeted by ten small speckled dog, they were wonderful! I took my shoes off and I started to play with the puppies.I been sure that I get a dog, but still I was surprised when a breeder asked me witch puppy I would want.The puppies were named Asterix and Obelix comic book characters, so the name does not help my decision.When I was playing with the dogs for a short time, I realized the small, pale puppy named Asterix is ​​the proper one. Asterix play with my scarf. I went to get him back the scarf, and looked at the puppy's beautiful face. Puppy raised his eyes from behind a scarf, so I was able to clearly see the puppy round brown eyes. I raised a puppy in my arms and gently touched  it. I was quite sure that Asterix was going to be my dog. I looked at the clock and understood that I had to leave, I sed the goodbye to the Asterix. My mother agreed with the breeder that Asterix would move in our home after a week.

The week passed painfully slowly, and finally half of the day, I would not have the patience to wait. The formalities taken care of, we put Asterix for the first time in its own collar on and put a new leash on it. We walked slowly out of the house and outside I realized something, I was finally a dog owner.

It was a beautiful day of summer holiday. My name is Carl but people call me CJ. I was with my best friend, Ryder. We both live in Los Angeles and well, you know, it’s a big city. It was hot and we had nothing much to do. Just a regular boring day of summer vacation. We decided to go cycling around the city. It was really hot, i felt like i was melting. It was way too hot to go on anymore. We stopped near a mall. We had to get something to drink.

  We actually didn’t notice anything before this, but there were no traffic. And it was really weird in a big city. But more interesting was that there was no people in the mall. It was quiet. We were so thirsty, we didn’t focus on that.

  We continued walking around and we found a vending machine. Stores were open, but we saw no workers in there so we just bought our drinks from that vending machine. I bought some cola, and Ryder bought a water bottle. We walked out of the mall and the parking lot was empty. It was really, really weird. We hopped on our bikes and started cycling.

  It was really creepy. No car sounds, no people, nothing. We cycled and cycle, still nothing. “Hey Ryder, what should we do now”, i asked. Ryder wasn’t there. There was no one. Just me. I was really confused. I started to cycle back, but i still didn’t find anyone. I cycled to a bridge and i stopped there to think something. Suddenly, it came dark. It came dark because a huge shadows came over me. I turned around and i saw a huuuge…. Thing. I didn’t know what it was. I just thought the best thing to do would be started to cycle away. Fast. I went back to downtown. I heard car sounds, but i didn’t see anyone. Then i crashed my bike. There was something invisible. When i got up, everything was like before. Lots of people, nothing in the river, everything was normal. “Ehh Carl, are you ok?” Ryder asked. “Well i think so, but what happened?... From where these people came back?” I answered. “Well, they have been here all the time…” Ryder said. Then i remembered i drank milk that was out of date in the morning.

Hi. My name is Alice. Im just a normal, 14 year old girl. I have short brown hair, dark, brown shining eyes and im really thin. But still, I dont have any friend. I would really like to have even one, not so good friend. Thats why I really have to tell about one, really wonderful day...
   I was dreaming on my window, when suddenly I saw a bird coming to my room. It was really confusing, but then that bird did turn into a human. It was like, 14 year old girl, long blond hair, blue eyes and she was taller than me. She smiled to me and said '' Hello, my name is Cleena. Please, come with me''. I was so confused, but I did follow her. She jumped to my rooms mirror, and pulled me with her. We did fall really long time, but it was so beautiful to watch all stuff passing me. Butterflys, mirrors, carousels, lollipops, everything I really liked. Then I closed my eyes, and when I opened them, I saw a beautiful forest at front of me. Full of light and beautiful flowers. Little squirrels and raccoons runned past to my feets. I walked around a bit, and then I saw Cleena again. She had a beautiful dress and she smiled to me and asked me to come with her again. I walked up to her, and I saw that I had a beautiful dress too. It made me so happy. '' Hey watch this ! '', Cleena said and two golden bird did fly to her hand. Then she throwed them to air and those tiny birds turned into a beautiful, big birds. First I did see only bright light.  '' Come on! '' Cleena said and jumped to her bird. I did the same, and those wonderful, red and yellow birds did flew up to the sky. I was at the same time scared and excited. I loved it. But then we saw a cliff, and those birds left us at  there. We waved to them, when they did fly away. '' Wasnt it funny? '', Cleena asked. I smiled to her. '' It was ! '', I answered and we did continue our trip. '' But that wasnt all!'', Cleena said and two pegasos did ride to us. Blue and pink. I climbed to the blue one, and Cleena tooked the other one. Then we did ride together, side by side. Sky was so blue and grass so green. I just smiled, because I was so happy, in a weird world with a new friend. Then we did reach a end of the green land. We left the pegasos, and they did run away together. '' Thank you, I did have really fun today!'', I thanked Cleena and hugged her. '' Its nothing. Remember, you can come back always to here and have fun with me if you want'', Cleena said and smiled to me again. She had a beautiful, warm smile. '' Oh, and one thing!'', Cleena said and crabbed my hand. She gave me a jewel, a beautiful, full of red, yellow, pink and blue diamonds. It shined with the sun. '' Thank you so much! '' I said and then closed my eyes. When I opened them, I was at home watching out of my window. First I did feel sad, but then I watched to my hand. That same jewel full of colorful diamond did decorate my hand. I smiled so happily. Now I had a friend. Just for me.

WOŚP - The Great Orchestra of Christmas Help

Wielka Orkiestra Świątecznej Pomocy (Great Orchestra of Christmas Help) is a charity organisation. 22 years ago Jerzy Owsiak and his friends founded it.

 

 

Every year this organisation helps thousand of people by organising a one day fund raising called a final for children and old people. In thousand of big cities, towns and villages people organise concerts and other attractions during which money is collected.

 

 

 

 

Every year, millions of Poles donate their money to the Foundation and, between 1993 and 2005, they collected more than $60 million for public hospitals in Poland.

New Year in Poland

In Poland similar to other countries we celebrate the end of the old year and the beginning of New Year. On that day usually people go to parties. New Year's Eve is called in Poland "Sylwester" because 31st of December it's Sylwester's nameday.

Generally, people go to parties to be with friends, family, to dance and drink. This is a special day, when people want to have a good time.

 

The other tradition about New Year is drinking champagne at midnight to welcome New Year. People like to drink champagne to have good luck in the coming New Year.

At midnight on New Year we let the fireworks.

 

It looks so wonderful so everybody can admire it!

They say that what happenes in New Year's Day, will happen during all the New Year.

That's why people want to celebrate it in the most fantastic way.

It is good to get into New Year without debts, unfinished business.

New Year's resolutions:

This time of year people usually make New Year's resolutions.

They promise themselves  to change something in their lives, for example to quit smoking, to start living on a diet or to save money.

Unfortunately, people often forget about these resolutions in the middle of the year.
